Rebecca Faber has practiced exclusively family law for many years. In addition, she has broad experience in other areas of law including personal injury litigation, real estate, and estates. She has conducted numerous trials and chambers applications and has presented cases and appeared at every level of court, including the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the British Columbia Court of Appeal, in family law matters.
Ms. Faber obtained an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Camosun College in 1987, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Victoria in 1990, and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Victoria in 1993. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1994.
Ms. Faber has been a volunteer judge and guest speaker for the University of Victoria Law School and an instructor for the Professional Legal Training Course.
